Waitaki MP and Opposition Tourism Spokesperson Jacqui Dean said she encouraged Central Otago tourism operators to take advantage of tomorrow's Tourism New Zealand Roadshow in Queenstown.
“This is a great opportunity for those within the tourism sector to talk with Tourism NZ representatives about future strategy, and industry insights, along with allowing locals to share their thoughts.
“The roadshow travels right around the country and will be in Queenstown, at the Heritage Hotel, tomorrow.
“These informal strategic updates are very insightful and offer the local industry a chance to understand the future direction of planning and promotion, which in turn is hugely valuable for their own businesses.”
The roadshow will also visit Auckland, Rotorua, Christchurch and Wellington, Mrs Dean said.
