Wanaka Primary School's new $1.2m learning centre beneficial

Waitaki MP Jacqui Dean said the opening of a new learning centre at Wanaka Primary School was a fantastic resource for students in the area.

“The Government funded $1.2 million centre will allow students to development skills and knowledge on an individual basis.

“It’s an exciting learning initiative for the Wanaka community and will provide much-needed opportunities for students to work at levels which will meet their needs.

"The students and staff at Wanaka Primary School will be delighted with these new facilities and will be keen to put them to good use.

“I am pleased that this education funding has come to Wanaka and that it will allow young people in the area to access the latest in learning initiatives and opportunities.

"It shows that no matter where you live the Government is ready to support the best education options available."
